Size and fit, worked through

Simplee sells S to XL and publishes US-number mapping on most listings. This page collects the fit logic of the whole catalogue in one place.

The published math

Where Simplee states it, the mapping is: S fits US 4-6, M fits 8-10, L fits 12-14, XL fits 16-18. The smocked midi and the belted romper carry this chart verbatim and both are reviewed as true to size. The velvet flagship adds a plus-size cut in the navy colourway.

Elastic does the fitting

Almost every dress here fits through an elastic empire waist, a smocked panel or stretch knit rather than a zip and darts. Practical consequence: the bust measurement decides your size, because everything below it has give. Between sizes at the bust, go up on the fitted velvet, down on the fully smocked chiffon.

Oversized is a fit, not a size

The crewneck sweatshirts are cut oversized on purpose. Your usual size produces the intended drop-shoulder drape; one size down produces a regular sweatshirt. Decide which garment you are buying before you order, not after.

One-pieces: measure the torso

Rompers fit or fail on torso length, and no waist elastic can rescue a short rise. The dressy romper’s 3.9 average is almost entirely this. If you are long in the body, check the garment torso measurement against a one-piece you already own.
