Check price & buyA peplum blouse built on babydoll lines, which is why it reads dressier than its shape suggests. V-neck with a tie at the front, short sleeves, ruffle trim, and a peplum that flares from the waist into an irregular ruffled hem. Orange floral is the only colourway. Reception has been more mixed than most of the range, which with a cut like this usually points at fit rather than fabric.
In stock at the last check, but the listing was running low; colours and sizes may thin out.
The top is cut close to the waist and then flares out, which is what separates a peplum from a plain blouse. It covers the top of a waistband, so it sits over jeans or shorts without needing to be tucked.
A tie detail sits at the V, decorative rather than structural. It gives the neckline something to look at and is the main reason the top reads dressy enough for a dinner rather than daytime only.
The ruffle at the bottom is not level all the way round. An irregular hem adds movement and breaks up the horizontal line a peplum would otherwise draw straight across the hip.
Short sleeves, a V-neck, loose from the waist down, so the fit question is mostly about bust and shoulders. The fabric is lightweight, drapes and resists creasing. Machine wash cold with like colours, tumble dry low, and keep a hot iron off the ruffled hem.
